Are You A Wimp? Why Being Bold Pays Off In Self Storage Marketing

Copyright 2006 Derek Naylor

Are you making wimpy offers?

In my last article, I discussed offers and their importance in life and self storage marketing. As a self-storage operator, you are making the offer to relieve locals of their cluttered home or yard. You offer a safe place to store valuable belongings. You offer them the option of parking their shiny new car in the garage, and so on.

There are really 2 types of offers that are relevant to self storage marketing or marketing in general:

1. Your Value Offering and, 2. Your Action Offer.

Your value offering is simply what value you offer to the marketplace. By far, this is your most important offer. After all, without one you wont be in business for long. Your value offering is something that should always be reviewed and improved.

Many people get caught up in marketing tricks and techniques and they forget all about creating an irresistible offer that the marketplace will gladly pay hard earned dollars for.

Enough on that for now

The second type of offer is your action offer. This is the call to action in your marketing materials. This is the offer that

Is re-gifting ethical?

By Jeff Kennedy

Most of the people among us either receive or give at least one re-gift in our lifetime;. The question before us is whether the re-gifting should be avoided or should be carried out as usual.

Many times the original giver of the gift may feel badly once you re-gift the item.to someone else. In the situation where the sentiments of the original giver are attached, you should re-think before re-giving the gift. You should consider the feelings of not only the person who gave you the gift, but your feelings as well. Its possible you may feel badly after you re-gift an item given to you by a close member of the family or friend. You may feel awkward in these situations where the sentiments of family members are attached and you should give re-gifting serious thought or avoid it altogether.

Some precaution when re-gifting:

If you do decide to re-gift some of the duplicate gifts you received during a function or a gift that you know youll never use, you should keep in mind several important points:

It is imperative that you avoid re-gifting the same item to the person who

Detox Via Sauna?

How do I get started?

It’s important to see your primary care provider for a thorough assessment to ensure that your symptoms are not caused by a medical condition that requires treatment. Even serious diseases, such as cancer, can present with seemingly minor symptoms such as fatigue and back pain. Or, they may only be detected by laboratory tests.

There’s no golden rule about what diet to follow or for how long, but the general theory is to temporarily (no more than one month) alter your diet in order to strengthen the organs and release stored toxins. This will involve cutting out alcohol and caffeine, two of the biggest culprits, as well as preparing your meals from natural foods free of additives, preservatives, saturated fats and sugar.

Overweight?

If you’re overweight, you have more toxins in your body than a thin person because the body stores excess toxins in fat cells. But don’t despair one of the great additional benefits of detoxing is losing weight!

Sauna Benefits

Heating of the tissues also enhances metabolic processes. Greater cellular energy production facilitates healing. Viruses, tumors and toxin-laden cells are weaker than normal cells. They tolerate heat poorly. Raising the

Fuel-Efficient Jetta TDI Saves Money at the Pump

In a time when anything under $2.20 gallon for gas is a bargain, those shopping for a new car are definitely comparing notes.

In fact, with gas prices at an all-time high and no sign of them taking a turn for the better anytime soon, more and more buyers are considering alternative fueled cars, like hybrids and diesel-powered automobiles.

This also is a good time for auto manufacturers to tout their fuel-efficient wares. And with the new 2005 Jetta TDI, Volkswagen is no exception.

Volkswagen’s newest model consists of an electronically advanced, high-tech TDI diesel engine – one that offers greater gas mileage with an even better overall performance.

While most drivers can expect to get anywhere from 15 to 25 miles to the gallon, the new Jetta TDI boasts an average of 35.5 miles per gallon in the city and 41.5 on the open road. This is enough to get you from Detroit to Washington, D.C. – more than 600 miles one way – without ever having to stop at a gas station.

Not a bad deal, the company says, for those looking to save a few dollars at the pump.

As with most new cars,

The Learning Process About Money And Wealth

What did you learn about money? Where did you learn about money or wealth?

Let us touch on the issue of our basic educational institutions, the schools, where we learn about the facts of life.

What are the subjects covered in school?

Language, mathematics, science, history, social studies, religion, among others are all important for us to study to blend ourselves well with society.

Even in the collegiate level, depending on what course one chooses to take, lessons are concentrated on the theories, principles and/or basics which are hardly in consonance with the real world.

How do we learn new things?

Reading websites, attending seminars, and talking to people more knowledgeable on the subject are some of the ways. We also learn by making mistakes, like babies learning to walk.

It is like roller skating where we get bruises every time we fall. The message is: Dont let mistakes stop you from learning. Learn from those mistakes and let them encourage you to learn more.

Always bear in mind that education in school is only the fundamental foundation of general knowledge. Outside school , we must gather as much skills as possible especially those pertaining to creating wealth.

What Really Creates Health And Wellbeing?

Most of us know that eating well and exercising is important for good health. Yet often we hear about people 100 years old and older that are still vital and have not eaten perfectly or exercised much. What is the secret of their good health?

Research indicates that a major factor in good health more important than genes, food, or exercise is how we handle stress.

Our bodies are equipped with a fight or flight mechanism that enables us to mobilize our strength when necessary. This mechanism allows us to fight or flee from real and present danger. However, this mechanism is also activated when we BELIEVE there is danger, even when no actual survival danger exists.

For example, it is appropriate for the fight or flight mechanism to activate if you are being physically attacked. When the stress response is activated, blood is taken from our brain and organs.and put into our arms and legs to enable us to fight or flee. Our immune system shuts down to give us more energy to physically protect ourselves and ensure our survival in the moment. Once the danger is over and we have discharged the stress through fighting

In Case of Disaster, Save Copies of Vital Documents

The impact of disaster. like last year’s Gulf Coast hurricanes is often long-term. As victims try to put their lives back in order, they frequently face the challenge of locating important documents that might have been lost or destroyed.

For many people, it takes a disaster to remind them of the importance of having copies of vital documents safely stored somewhere other than their homes.

A recent study commissioned by The UPS Store and Mail Boxes Etc. franchise network disclosed that 58 percent of those surveyed said that natural disasters have made them more aware of this need.

Yet only 21 percent of respondents have started preparing for a natural disaster. Of those who have started preparations, just over half indicated that they have taken steps to copy important documents.

The UPS Store franchisee Steve Spicer recommends that people make copying important documents a yearly ritual.

“Tax time is the perfect time to inventory and copy necessary papers,” he says. “We encourage customers to bring in important documents along with their tax returns. It just takes a few minutes and a few cents to duplicate each document.”

The survey indicated that a vast majority of
